De voetband bestaat uit een bout of staaf met schroefdraad die tijdens de bouw in de betonnen voet of fundering wordt ingebed. Het andere uiteinde van de stropdas heeft een plaat of een ander soort bevestigingsmechanisme dat aan het houten skelet wordt bevestigd.<\/p>\n

Voetankers zijn een essentieel onderdeel van houtskeletbouw omdat ze zijdelingse beweging helpen voorkomen en weerstand bieden tegen opwaartse krachten. Zonder de juiste funderingsankers kunnen houtskeletbouwconstructies kwetsbaar zijn voor schade of instorting tijdens harde wind, aardbevingen of andere soorten externe krachten.<\/p>\n

Voetankers zijn er in verschillende maten en soorten, afhankelijk van de belastingseisen van de constructie en de specifieke constructiebehoeften.
